Farouk Systems Presents Miss Universe 2010

For the first time, Farouk Systems makers of CHI will be the presenting sponsor of the Miss Universe pageant that will take place August 23, 2010 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. As the presenting sponsor, the event will be billed “Presented by Farouk Systems Makers of CHI ” and the company logo will be displayed on all marketing materials surrounding the pageant.

Throughout the telecast co-hosted by international superstar Bret Michaels and Today show co-host and correspondent Natalie Morales, BioSilk and CHI 30-second hair tip segments will run world wide during the live television broadcast on NBC and Telemundo at 9 p.m. ET.

For the ninth consecutive year, Farouk Systems is the official hair care sponsor of the Miss Universe Organization. Lead by Global Artistic Board Member Tammy Mixon, the CHI styling team preps the hair for 83 contestants for all of the festivities; swimsuit, evening gown and interview rounds; as well as the judges and hosts.

MANILA -- The most beautiful day in the universe will happen tomorrow, August 24, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Watch the Philippines' pride Maria Venus Raj as she competes with more than 80 entrants from all over the world for the Miss Universe 2010 crown.

The pageant will be shown live via satellite at ABS-CBN tomorrow (August 24) at 9:30 a.m. with a primetime telecast the same day on Studio 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Velvet at 6:30 p.m.
